Monica & Gia
My name is Monica, I'm from Puerto Rico, and come from a long line of crafty women. From pottery to clothes, to accessories, they instilled a love for crafting that will never go away! I’ve been living in the US since 2003 when I graduated from the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!). Me and my daughter, Gia, are the faces behind M&G Linked Jewelry LLC. Our small business venture started out as Gia’s Bowtique and ran from 2010 to 2017, specializing in hair accessories and beaded jewelry, selling our line on Etsy, through our website and different boutiques. Now we’ve expanded into this adventure and are loving the time we get to spend together as we create individualized pieces for our customers.
As Gia’s interests changed from bows to jewelry, the transition in our business seemed natural as well. We are open for appointments and bookings only on the weekends as I work full time as a Family Development Supervisor at a Cincinnati non-profit. My love for working with parents and children has fueled my creative drive over the years and my accessory businesses have allowed me to give back to this community that I love.
