Hi, I’m Monica! Thought I’d share a little bit about me so you can get to know the face behind the business. I live in Cincinnati, OH, but I’m originally from Puerto Rico and I come from a long line of creative women who passed down their love for craftsmanship. From pottery to clothing to accessories, they instilled in me an appreciation for handmade work and attention to detail that continues to inspire everything I do. I’ve been living in the U.S. since 2003, when I graduated from the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!).
My business journey began as Gia’s Bowtique, which was inspired by my daughter Gia, and was a business I ran from 2010 to 2017, specializing in hair accessories and beaded jewelry. I sold our pieces on Etsy, through our website, and in boutiques. As Gia’s interests shifted from bows to jewelry, it felt natural for my business to evolve as well. Now, I focus on creating custom and permanent jewelry, and I’m loving every moment of working to craft meaningful pieces for my customers.
In addition to jewelry, I work full-time as a Family Development Supervisor at a Cincinnati nonprofit, a role that fuels my passion for supporting families and giving back to our community. That same passion drives my dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and making every customer feel special.
I love engaging with customers at events and seeing the joy my work brings to people. Whether you’re booking an appointment or booking us for a group event, you’ll always find me committed to creating unique pieces with care and precision.
Thank you for visiting my page and supporting my small business. I hope you love what you see and I look forward to creating something special just for you!
